Donald Lynn Valeka, a 59 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at his home at 9:17 a.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2019 where he was under hospice care.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Whitaker Eads Funeral Home of Trenton. Memorial donations are suggested to the funeral expenses.
Donald Lynn Valeka was born May 20, 1959 in Petersburg, VA to Jerry Dale and Mavis Maye (Gardner) Valeka. From 1979 until 1985 he served in the United States National Guard. Donald worked for Conoco Phillips in Spartanburg, SC where he was a machinists working on fiber production. Donald was known as a Jack-of-all-trades and was especially known for his mechanical knowledge. In his past time he enjoyed spending time fishing.
Surviving relatives include his fiancée Amy Ewing of the home, daughter Debbie Green and husband Nathan of Bowling Green, SC, son Wesley Valeka of Spartanburg, SC, mother Mavis May Edmunds and step father Joe Edmunds of Spartanburg, SC, brothers David Valeka and wife Lisa of Spartanburg, SC, Dane Valeka and wife Roxanne of Gaffney, SC and John Valeka of Spartanburg, grandchildren Jacob Green, Bryson Green, Adam Valeka and Noah Valeka, aunts Ida Tunnell of Trenton and Thelma Ellis and husband Russell of Trenton, fiancée’s children Jessica Crowder and husband Jason and Christan Logan, and their children Byron, Kayla, Isaiah, Levi, and Johnathon.
